Finally, a new image.

So, you may remember way back in the beginning of January when I bought some new beads, a few weeks before the gift show. I finally figured out how to get the image I took of them out of the new Nikon, so here they are.

I've already made goldfill earrings out of the labradorite slabs, which are just cool and somewhat more green than this photo shows. Not much flashier, though some of the pieces are awesome. Sadly, overall, it's about as flashy as it looks in this photo, but I still think it's really keen stuff, and I love the cut. I'm not sure yet what I'll do with the aquamarine rough, but it's really pretty neat and possibly my favorite buy. The little carnelian and hematite beads are 3mm rounds for earrings, and the moonstone is nowhere near as orange in real life as it is in this photo. I've no idea why it came out that orange. It's actually more of a taupe-y peach color. But very nice, none the less.

Now that I know how to get pictures out of the "new" camera, I'll try and get my beadshow finds posted and pictures of the new jewelry and my oatmeal mask up. But for now, this is all I got.

Have a good day,
Jenie

Okay, Paris AND new beads? You just enjoy torturing me don't you? I'm going off to pout in the corner now. No, no, don't bother trying to talk to me...

Well, not actually new, since I bought them way back the first week of January. Don't pout. Come out of the corner. Come on! (dangling pretty shiny things) Come on! Come back and play with the shinies... ;)
